At 3 years young, sweet Arzola almost bled to death due to an unusual post op hemorrhage cause by a rare connective tissue disorder. This scary incident led to the diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. An astonishing recovery from that near fateful night has been made, but Arzola continues to push through the daily adversities and challenges of being a zebra.
She is more than her diagnosis. Arzola is a Kindergartener at Medina Christian Academy. Her passion for dance shines through when she dances at Studio 82 in Jazz and Ballet classes, and she is a "Comets" gymnast at Five-Star Gymnastics. She's also discovered a love for cheerleading participating as a Firecracker at Ohio Cheer Explosion. The 2016 Brunswick Toddler Miss First Attendant, and currently the 2019 Brunswick Mini Miss. A girl that truly has Disney in her veins and Jesus in her heart.
Our mission is to raise awareness and serve families dealing with rare illnesses while giving all the glory to God.
Arzola is the middle sister of the Tomic Tribe. She is loved by her older brother, Brystin, and looked up to by her little sister, Milena. Arzola Caroline was named after her great-great Grandma; and on May 29, 2015, she was the rainbow baby born to Peter and Brittani Tomic.
